A society can flourish only when its members spend their wealth judiciously to fulfill their own desires and reserve a portion of it for the poor and the deprived.

Bharghavi Shankar Charitable Trust is a registered, non-governmental, non-profitable, social service organization established in Feb-2016 with the aim of assisting poor, sick and disabled people in the world. The trust is located at Kharghar Navi-Mumbai .It has started to work for the people who are really under the clutches of poverty and social backwardness. It provides help to the needy, education for the poor children, funds for good causes, and all kind of social services like health camps, public awareness programmes.

Old age Home for Women above 60 at Kharghar, Navi-Mumbai

This is our “first step” in the field of old age for destitute. Tomorrow it will be a “giant leap” for the people who are thrown out of society by their own “Kith and Kin”.

We have humbly started a home without any caste or creed in our mind for old ages and destitute in a airy and clean atmosphere providing them hygienic food, clothes, ,medical care etc..

We have always had an intention to uplift the down trodden living in deep poverty in and around Mumbai and Navi-Mumbai, Maharashtra. Enormous number people are suffering from the clutches of poverty and ignorance due to lack of education and social backwardness, Due to various factors they are financially ruined and living under the darkness knowing nothing about tomorrow. This impressed into our mind with a great impact and made our intentions stern to march forward without any hesitation. This factor became the driving force for our social works.

So we gathered few likeminded who are dedicated and determined to achieve our motto at any cost and formed an organization under the banner of Bhargavi Shankar Charitable Trust, a stubborn tree with a few more branches yet to be grown. Due to paucity of funds and finance we are stagnant, at this juncture we appeal to all from our heart to lend your helping hand and come forward to donate liberally and generously for a genuine cause by the way of “your kindness” to enlarge our activities. You will be provided with feedback for the expenditure incurred towards the good cause with the statement in short duration.
